French MPs adopt law authorizing banned pesticides

On Tuesday, the Sénat largely backed a bill authorizing farmers to use two bee-harming pesticides, despite outcry from researchers, environmentalists, leftist politicians and the Environment Minister, who intends to resign over the bill.
