French prime minister increases aid for fuel prices without specifying how it will be funded

Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced on Thursday that the government would extend and expand the measures already announced. The cost of the plan could reach between €1.2 billion and €1.7 billion over the year. Nothing was said about the savings required.
