Bonjour from France,

I hope that you and yours are well.

I have news… and it’s good news! The Autumn issue of The Good Life France Magazine is published, and you can read it for free as always, here:

It’s a gorgeous issue featuring Provence, the French Riviera, a gorgeous, perched village crowned by a castle in the Drôme and a palm-tree lined paradise in Le Var, plus Paris essentials, medieval Noyers in Burgundy, beautiful Quimper in Brittany, the Loire Valley, Dordogne and Normandy and many more fabulous destinations. There are practical guides and cultural articles – the art of trompe l’oeil, an emerging wine scene in the far north of France, artisans who practice centuries old crafts, how the French celebrate Halloween. Plus mouthwatering recipes from top chefs. And more, much more. But I’m not going to bang on about it – please have a read and see for yourself. I hope you enjoy it – and feel free to share it with your friends, you know what they say: the best things in life are free, and so is sharing!

Meanwhile, I am packing my bags to head to Sancerre and Bourges in the Loire and to get off the beaten track and discover some of the more secret treasures of the Valley of the Kings. Come with me via Instagram where I’ll share videos and photos as I go! After that I’ll head to Nice in the south of France to explore the lip-smackingly delicious gastronomy of this sun-kissed city, and then Antibes, a jewel of the French Riviera, and to Cognac to explore the stunning autumnal countryside and find out how to enjoy a little nip of Cognac in a unique way – yoga and cognac anyone?!

Meanwhile – I’m working on the new podcast episodes and can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you so much for all the lovely, encouraging messages you’ve sent – from the lady who listens in the gym as it gets her through the treadmill sessions, to the man who listened while travelling by train and laughed so loud he woke up the passenger next to him, and the kids in the UK who listen every night! Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed the episodes, shared them, played them again and told me to bring the podcast back – it’s on its way.
